Pino Marchese
 BACKGROUND
Graduated in Architecture from University of Florence in 1990. Practised
Pottery at 'Antica Fornace Di Bacchereto' in Vinci-Tuscany,1982-84. Worked
for eight years in various studios of architecture in south Italy and
Florence doing projects for housing, commercial and public buildings.
Independent projects doing interior design of stores, private houses & product design. He came first to Auroville in 1997.

- New Factory for Maroma, Auroville, an incense, candle & aromatherapy industry
- New factory for ‘Colours of Nature', an indigo based garment industry
Planning
Since 1997, part of Auroville's Future - Centre for Urban Research. Actively
involved in preparation of the Master Plan document for Auroville & a Perspective plan 2025 for Auroville based on which a detailed development plan was prepared under the European Union project of Asia Urbs.
