New Selection Process

by Tabitha - Sunday, 17 November 2013

2nd General Meeting on a proposed New Selection Process for the Workin (Photographer: Tabitha)Following are the minutes of the 2nd GM on a proposed New Selection Process for the Working Committee and the Auroville Council with a Participatory Working Group Proposal. Due to the rain, the meeting was not well attended. Still, what was exposed was that perhaps a new process will not make the dissatisfaction of the community disappear. It was mentioned, that even the best selection process possible would do nothing until we are ready to tackle the core issues that are burdening the community, causing much passivity and non-participation of its members.
