Auroville Health Services

Auroville Health Services is a non profit unit of Auroville foundation working in the area of preventative health care, awareness and health education. We aim to bring health care and education to Auroville and the bio-region around us.

In the bio-region, living standards can be extremely basic with poor sanitation and nutrition levels. We want to increase health standards and give people the tools to take responsibility for their own lives and health. We work in an integrated way with local people, groups, and other organizations in the field.

Our preventive health care service provides a health support unit, ongoing health & food safety education,yoga classes to villagers linked with Auroville's activities, ecological sanitation and water systems for homes, schools & villages and general health and hygiene monitoring in Auroville.
