Volunteer Program
Udavi school welcomes volunteers to help at the school in various capacities - as assistant teachers or if they have a special skill to teach that to the students.
Being an English medium school we are always in need of help for teachers to meet the students on a one to one basis to read with them or help t hem to write English. There is also always a demand for assistance in the sports and physical education program. And we stretch our program to offer a course when a volunteer bring any special skill.
We have a few guest rooms for volunteer teachers but that depends on availability. These are offered to those commit themselves to work for at least one month. Board and lodging for volunteer teachers is paid by the school. Please contact udavischool@auroville.org.in with full details.
