1. Unit :Saracon

• Saracon offers office facilities, skills in accessing networking opportunities, and encouraging environment for research and value-added projects.

Volunteers Needed:
To participate in the on-going activities of the unit

2. Work Description

Goal : Fostering projects and starting projects and businesses to increase Aurovillian entrepreneurship.

Activities :

Saracon is supporting projects of 3 types:

• Projects concerning the AV community as a whole, such as public transport

• Projects led by individuals: AV art (online gallery, translation service, IT services etc)

• Projects which link Aurovilie with the surrounding areas: bringing (financial, marketing) knowledge to the villages, bridging with social work.

Skills Required

• Project management

• IT skills

• Entrepreneur experience

3. Time Frame : December 2009 onward

Duration : according to the project, minimum 2-3 months
