1. Unit : Auroville Boutique

• Located in the Visitor's Centre, the Auroville Boutique sells fashion products to visitors and works to the empower saleswomen that they employ.

Volunteers Needed: Motivating & self-empowering saleswomen in the Boutique

2. Work Descriptions

Goal : Raise the educational level of the current saleswomen team from the villages

Activities :

• Give explanations to the saleswomen on “shop assistant work” as it is practiced in Italy

• Give some instructions for basic Hindi, French, Italian, and Spanish

• Organize some conversations with the sales team, in order to open them to basic current event topics.

Skills Required

• Ease in Human relationships, friendliness

• Practical pedagogy

• Experience in sales and working with employees

• Sense of commitment

Duration : minimum of 3 months +
