Dear Friends, Family in Auroville and abroad,

About 25 Aurovilians and concerned neighbors came together on the 8th December at Kalakendra, BharatNiavs, including representatives from WC, AV Security, AVAG, YouthLink, EcoPro, Mohanam, Thamarai, SLI, Pitchandikulam, and various groups who have already been working on the ground in Chennai, Cuddalore, and our neighboring Bioregional villages.

TamilNadu has been severely affected by the monsoon rains which have flooded many cities and washed away countless villages. Auroville now has a consolidated effort to reach out and help 'AV Flood Relief 2015'. We are still in the process of identifying how Auroville can help best, this is a very sensitive situation.
