“Water Being”

The ongoing “Water Being” project was initiated without any structured plan three years ago; photos were taken during several courses of aquatic-bodywork.

Little did I know at the time that the journey into this reality would be so enriching, and that I would become a privileged witness to some of the most profound, intimate, soul-touching moments that I could ever have imagined.

I was amazed to see how the water broke down barriers between the participants who were able, in a very short time, to reach a deep level of intimacy and closeness by surrendering themselves to this element and, most importantly, by deeply caring for one another.

The aquatic-body practices have become known for their therapeutic properties; as a photographer I value them as a great source of inspiration for exploring human behavior when the being is in closer proximity to its inner dimension.

On a more personal level I see these practices as a potential vehicle for helping human consciousness on its journey towards expansion and transformation.
