Iono, french artist, lives and works in Auroville, an International city in South India,
She envisages Art as a mean for her to express her relation with the Divine.
Painting is her breath. While painting she explores Nature, all kind of natures.
She paints on handmade paper and that is not just a detail. She maintains since
childhood a deep connection with this material. She likes to explore the weft, to read its reaction to the brush and the paint. As she likes people with asperities, she find in Paper this deep side, rough, to work and to transform.
She likes to show that all is possible, opened.
She attended during several years the teachings of a well known swiss artist, abstract painter.
Her new serie of paintings, «Lost» is a moment of a quest: a glimpse into a brief truth, a manifestation of some inner landscapes.
« A vision of the World, a gaze on our inner and outer lands…
All that surrounds me, I behold, all that go trough me and transcends me, beyond my limitations, within multiple realities. I catch vibrations, incarnate them into Matter.
I revolve around the Earth.
Obsessed by the Sphere, symbol of the Universe, of the Whole and the Void, of our Mother Earth, of our cycles and fleeting Time, of the renewal and moto perpetuo, Love is my mover, my constant source of Joy, of Recreation and Creation.
While painting, I explore Nature.
A poise between Heaven and Earth, I seek. »
